Our founder, James, is a New Zealander who studies, competed, and worked in the United States as a student-athlete. After experiencing the impact of international education firsthand, James created Bridge South to help U.S. students engage with New Zealand in a more meaningful and locally connected way.

With a background in international business, supply chain management, athletics leadership, and university-based consulting work, James brings both local New Zealand knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of the U.S. college environment.
